Anson County- NCWorks Career Center's First Lunch and Learn

The Anson County NCWorks Career Center partnered with the Sandhills Community Action Agency holding the first "Lunch and Learn", a free initiative being offered to residences in Anson County to ensure they are informed of the services offered within the Anson County NCWorks Career Center. Residence learn about NCWorks Online, a complete set of employment tools for job/career-seekers and employers in North Carolina. The site includes, job searches, free resume building technology, education and training resources. Also, various workshops and a youth (NEXTGEN) program that assist youth between the ages of 16-24 sharpen their soft skills, build resumes, and assist with employment and training needs.

Employers can find candidates, post jobs, search labor market information all within the NCWorks Online website. All services are also staff assisted and offered within the Anson- NCWorks Career Center and NCWorks Career Center's across the region.
